Big, cool city with Oprah and Jerry Springer. Friendly people and is cheaper than big cities on the coasts

Big and dirty. Lots of traffic and big buildings. Chicago is very affordable and authentic with a minimum of yuppie BS. They have pretty good public transit with the El. The Lake Michigan beaches are beautiful, but crowded.

Great city, with friendly people. The summer here is great for beaches and baseball games. Winter is somewhat brutal. Young people from all over the midwest and the country move to Chicago for opportunity and fun
